Location
Saint Blancard is situated in the southern part of the GERS department, which is also called 'French Tuscany'. The area is also described as 'The garden of France'.
The quiet roads, beautiful views, abundant agriculture, many lakes and the Pyrenees make this an extremely attractive area.
In the summer, there are lots of cultural activities in the Gers. Two well--known events are the Marciac Jazz festival and Tempo Latino in Vic Fesensac.
Toulouse itself is a vibrant city with many faces, and climatically it proves to be the 'warmest' city in France.
